But the novel contain more content than anime, for example Ayase's ark is rather more detailed (Stalker incident is mentioned only there) and Sakurai ark is only in the novel. And a lot of little details, especially in the ending part of the series. 11th and 12th tomes picturized in just a short special of the second season, but it is at least 500 pages of text!
